Parker Burnell assisted in the purchase of five parcels totaling 12.11 acres at the corner of General Booth Blvd. and Nimmo Parkway from the Hickman family, which closed on June 17, 2014. The site will be used to develop Hickman Place, a proposed ± 93,351 square foot Retail Development, approved by the city for rezoning May 27, 2014.
Hickman Place will consist of eight buildings ranging from ± 5,600 square feet to ± 16,000 square feet along with an anchor tenant up to 30,000 square feet. One of the buildings shall be the existing multi-story historic Hickman House which will be relocated to the northwestern corner of the property facing General Booth Blvd. In addition to the retail shops, there will also be a ± 1.5 acre pad site facing Nimmo Parkway available for a ground lease.
Construction on the property shall begin soon and will be developed and Managed by Michael D. Sifen, Incorporated. Parker Burnell will handle all leasing aspects of the development.
